Why is it that standard printmaking paper is 22"x30", but the closest standard frame size is 24"x30"? Very annoying.

Maybe it's intended for you to crop the paper for a better edge finish? Dunno.

That could be it, but then why would it be not be smaller on the other dimension as well? And prints don't really need mats, since they're usually self-bordered, so that isn't it either.

I'm confused!

But they even list out of stock items! 24"x30" does make sense to frame a paper that's 18"x24" plus matting, but I am really quite surpised that they don't make frames specifically for printing paper.
