Kurt took in Rachel's expression, clearly she had been crying again. He gave her a sad smile and stepped inside the house.

"I take it you told Finn?" he asked, voice full of concern.

[OOC: You might want to put a date on this, especially if it's backdated so we know it's not this coming Friday.]

Rachel shook her head, letting Kurt in. "No, I haven't told him...Kurt, I..." She held up a chain around her neck, showing off a small diamond ring. "Finn proposed, Kurt." She smiled, a tear falling. "Finn proposed to me!"

Kurt raised his eyebrows at Rachel's exclamation. He glanced at the ring hanging off the chain from around Rachel's neck. How did that even happen?

"And you said yes?" he asked, trying to disguise the obvious disdain in his voice.

He loved Finn and Rachel but there was no way that they were mature enough to even entertain the idea of being married. Heck, even Blaine hadn't proposed to him - he had just promised that one day he would. There was a massive difference.

Finn and Rachel didn't even live together yet. How on earth could they know that they could be a couple to withstand anything if they hadn't lived together for at least one of every season? Rachel would probably go nuts over some of the things that Finn did if she lived with him like Kurt did. Or worse, in the same room, like engaged and married couples did - not just across the hall like he and Finn.

It was ridiculous. He couldn't believe that Finn hadn't told him!
