Having been tagged with rage (not in the zombie way), here are a few of my least favourite things.

1) Shitty sensationalist press-rags that pretend to be newspapers.

I looked at Daily Mail Watch and had to look away lest my brain explode with bile.

I had not realised that reading other people's rants could be therapeutic, but after yours, I feel, I have to say, a little better. Previously exerienced also by the sight of timscience doing same meme. Thank you for venting rage I didn't even know I had.

(Cars! I knew I had that one, but didn't know there were fellow sufferers.)

Daily Diana/ now incorporating the Daily Maddie, absolutely.
Daily Mail, the paper that supported the blackshirts (and still would?)

Not just the blackshirts, Rothermere supported Hitler and actually met with him. I had meant to include that in my rant, so thanks for bringing it back up.

Rant on!

Also, THANK YOU for Mail Watch, and I second celestialweasel's recommendation of http://ifyoulikeitsomuchwhydontyougolivethere.com/. All this stuff is like crack, though, srsly. I am hopelessly addicted. It's like rolling up TVGoHome (maybe cutting it with a pinch of Private Eye) and smoking it. Oh god.

Glad to be of service; I've seen spEak You're bRanes before, but hadn't been following it properly. I may now have to do that.

Yes, quite possibly so. It's a travesty how much the press, and everyone else, latched on to them.
