hey everyone! i'm maeve, and i've been a true blood obsessive for about three months or so now! i've seen all the episodes screened so far in the US but am so happy that the UK are finally getting the episodes so i can love them all over again. cannot wait until this wednesday where we will finally get our first glimpse of eric! :DDD who is, incidentally my favourite character :D
what i love the most about TB is that it's such an ensemble piece.. we get to know even the minor characters like hoyt and terry.. feels like we've known them all our lives. i guess that's an advantage of basing a tv programme on a book series: all the characters are so well developed, but i think with alan ball on board, any interpretation would be excellent!
i'm also a huge fan of the books and am currently reading 'dead as a doornail'.. although the tv show doesn't follow the books to the letter, i really do get a lot of joy out of both! really hope this community will get off the ground and all us UK guys can make our own little TB world here :)
Hi I'm daxie and I only started getting interested in the show after my cousin started posting clips from it on youtube and I thought hmmmmmmm this looks pretty good so I picked up a couple of the books and I've been hooked ever since.
My fav character : it's a toss up between Tara and Sam really!
My cousin told me that they don't follow the books exactly but as long as they don't screw up the main relationship too much I won't have a problem with that!
Hi guys I'm tiana. I 've been reading the true blood books for a couple of years so I know what's going to happen but obviously I'm not going to spoil it for all of you! I haven't seen the series in advance yet like maeve but I've been told that this series will keep getting better so I'm looking forward to it!
My fav character so far is Lafayette - I only hope they don't stick to his storyline in the books too closely!
