I know there's a Music Wiki on the main True Blood wiki, but this isn't up there and I can't find any reference to it in the forums so here goes

There is an episode music listing @ http://true-blood.tv/Music/Music.php It has descriptions of the scenes in which the song is playing but I didn't see the song you were asking about listed.

Thanks anyway for pointing it out and having a look :) It may be that it was written specifically for the scene, but I doubt it... arrrgh it's been driving me nuts since it aired!!!! haha

I know when Bill and Sookie first get there, it's a cover of "Don't Fear The Reaper" but I don't know who covered it. Though I don't think that's the song you're talking about.

No unfortunately that's not the one... and yes it's Don't Fear The Reaper - I kept looking around for more cowbell in the bar but didn't see any lol

Christopher Walken would hate Fangtasia then. ;) It's an awesome cover of "Don't Fear The Reaper" but it almost feels like blasphemy because there is no cow bell in it.
