I doubt they'd take fan interest into account for plot lines. And frankly, I wouldn't want it to get fanservicey.

But there's 2000 years of Eric backstory to explore, so I'm sure he'll pop up now and again.

A petition seems a bit junior high, to be honest.

Pretty much this, and honestly Godric in the finale was weird to me. The way he was in the show and how and why he died packed such a punch and having him show up at the drop of a hat would cheapen that.

Yeah, I didn't like how they used him. It was a bit too Harry-on-Dexter, if you know what I mean.

Godric pretty much served his purpose in True Blood. To over-use him in the series? Not good. As much as I adore Russell, I know when his time comes, he's vampire goo. I'll be sad, but hey..That's called progression in a story. It's GOT to happen to keep our interest.

I also agree, there's probably going to be a few cameos to give Allan as Godric in coming seasons.SMALL cameos. I really thought his cameo in the season 3 finale was just...WEIRD and kinda forced.

Hey, he was super-pretty to look at, and the acting was good. He dosen't deserve -this- much attention, tho. (JMHO)
