NOOO!! I was so happy to see crazy-ass Franklin back then POW, no more! Damn you, Jason Stackhouse, for killing one of the best vampires EVER in a vampire show! YAY tho for seeing Tara's attitude and strength come back, tho. I was totally cheering her on!

I was pretty bummed out with it. But, I have come to recognize the sheer brillance of King Russell, and I ask myself: Franklin WHO? Talbot WHO? ABSOLTELY BRILLIANT, that's the way a vampire should be- ripping the spines out of humans and announcing to the world their utter domination of the human race he has in mind. His speech was so great, so passionate..I'm going to be so sad when Eric finally has him meet his Final Death. *sniffs sadly* He's got the irrevernce and brutality of Angeleus, and that always made me laugh while watching Buffy.

Sam was kick-ass too, I've been waiting for the "inner" Sam to finally come forth. Loved the look of total awe on Tommy's face as Sam beat Crystal's dad to bloody pulp.

WTF is going on next week!? CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY

If anyone here is a fan of V for Vendetta, Russell's speech reminded me of V's "V-TV" speech, the crazy brutal version anyway...

I love V for Vendetta and it reminded me of V's speech as well! I was mentioning V during it and no one else in the room knew what I was talking about it. LOL!! I'm happy I'm not alone there.

Oh...my...gosh...
I THOUGHT LAST WEEK'S WAS AMAZING....but this week's is even better.
Russell's speech at the end was perfect. Absolutely perfect. And I thought it was just *rich* that Nan was watching it while feeding off a human when she is ALL FOR MAINSTREAMING ZOMG!!11!!!1! Yeah, Nan. You're not fooling anyone.

I kinda liked that there wasn't much Sookie in this episode or Bill lol, although I hated the hokey scene with Bill and Claudine, "you only want her light" wtf?

I am so, so sad to see Franklin go. Such a wonderful freak.

OTOH, I am beyond excited to see the effect that this Holly person is already having on several characters.

And I am especially interested in Sam... what is going on with him here? (Why do I keep getting this nagging feeling that he figured out about Joe Lee's fighting ring way too easily?)

And Bill... he's lying to Sookie about something, still. And it's creepy.
