Are you talking about Earl and Sookie? Earl was Gran's husband and apparently the guy from whom sookie inherited her gift

In Season 1, Gran said that her husband had a way of knowing things that no one else did - implying it was the same thing sookie had. And Gran speculated that it was Earl who gave it to her.

Hmm. So they're changing it from the books then (I don't remember season 1 much, except that some of it made me really mad!).

I'm just excited that a certain little guy is on there. Maybe they won't cut his character from the books when they get to his season.

I think it's interesting that Earl and Sookie are circled. That's wrong, if you think about Sookie's ancestry in the books.

Also, please note the little box under Hadley.

I know! I got all "OMG OMG OMG!" I thought that the powerpoint org chart for a family tree was a nice nod to how technology savvy Bill is in the books.

Well it seems to mean a couple of things... first, that it's likely they are going to veer off the books a bit as far as some of the details of Sookie's family tree. Second, this is more confirmation the show seems to be following a particularly important area of books RE: Bill and Sookie. Third, it indicates that Hadley is who she is in the books (and has a child, per the books).
