*Sam stomps through the bar on the way to his office, calling over his shoulder "When Sookie gets here, tell her to come to my office!"*

I have to get out of this town for a while. Maryann is getting too close and I can't afford to let her force me to shift in the bar

Sookie pulled up and parked into her usual space at Merlotte's. She wasn't usually this late, but she had been up all night thinking about how Bill could've possibly done something as severe as turn an innocent girl into a vampire and not tell her. She knew in the back of her mind that had been his choice, he never would've done it, but why couldn't he have just explained? Did he think she would think less of him? Like she would look at him differently? She knew exactly what she was getting into when she got into this relationship. Trouble with a capital T

[Sorry I didn't make it back here last night - I had a migraine that just wouldn't quit :S ]

Sam comes to the door of his office, wrenching it open and striding out into the bar and up to Sookie.

"Hey, Sookie? Can you come to my office when the bar clears out a bit? There's something I need to talk to you about. I need a favor. A couple of favors actually."

"Arlene! Quit worrying about your damn fingernails and get to work!"

Location: en route to Fangtasia

Sookie, I need to ask you a huge favor. There's a good chance I'll have to leave for a while and I don't want to leave the bar shorthanded while I'm away. It's just not fair to you or to Terry and I just can't count on Tara right now. I need you to help smooth the way for me with the vampires - I'd like to see if they'd loan me a bartender for a while.

Sam and Sookie arrive at Fangtasia and go inside.
