I was seriously beginning to worry but thanks to a YouTube video by BaronessNZ (she is my hero!) I actually finished making a book.  I know!  ::throws up hands::

I've been wanting to do this for a very long time and despite my failed first attempt I enjoyed every minute of it. Because, you see, I really do believe that the writing of some very gifted people belongs in print.

Thank you so much! For a while there I wasn't sure it was going to happen but then, omg, I think I'm done. It was kind of a surprise.

I'm not sure she'll appreciate all of this but smilla02 writes beautifully. So beautifully that when I finish reading her work the first thing I think is, I quit. Because she has an unerring habit of articulating what I'm thinking/feeling and doing it a 100 times better than I could. Also, she's quick. I adore her and so if she likes this small gift then I'm too happy.

Wow! Absolutely beautiful. I love the colors, especially the front cover. What a thoughtful friend you are to make such a special gift. I'm the least creative and probably the most craft-challenged person on the planet so my hat is off to you on your accomplishment. Keep 'em coming!

Thank you! So sweet. LOL. Believe me, I felt very craft-challenged, and still do, but this was fairly straight-forward and the videos made it even more so. I found that making it for someone else kept me focused so that when I hit a snag I just kept going. That she likes it just makes the experience all the better.

\o/ I know! LOL. A part me can't believe I finished it. And that she likes it just makes me want to keep on working at it. The whole project was a very nice experience.
