The Netgear Rangemax router seems to be working well at home, though the signal quality at times on my end dips low and loses the connection :( but hopefully a repeater will solve that, and I'll be able to cancel the cable modem. Which will be $47/month free, and also less cords in my room

is there a way to ascertain remotely which type of routers and providers are servicing each of the unencrypted and encrypted wireless streams conveniently streaming around my apartment?
