Court thing is DONE. Resolved. Finished. I was reticent to discuss it on a large scale until it was worked out, since I honestly didn't know what would happen. Anyone on the band trip knew about it (though the fucking rumor that ended up going around said that it was some guy in the drumline. The federal marchal guy there did mention that I had opened myself up to the possibility of a $10,000 fine and COULD have been rung up on federal charges. I don't know about you but I don't see myself doing well in federal prison.

This might very well be the longest LJ post I have ever read. Congratulations, I was enthralled the whole time.

Also congratulations on not getting in trouble. When my parents and I flew to Washington DC the first week of the war in Iraq, she forgot to remove her deceased father's pocketknife from her purse. It was pretty big too. Fuss fuss fuss. Didn't get charged with anything though.
