well today sucked. i took Phobos to the vet this morning because she hadn't peed in two days and they told me her kidneys were failing so I had to put her down. then I went to work and it's Friday so of course Crybaby called out as he always does. We just fired one guy, and everyone else bailed early so I was alone for two hours and got yelled at

I'm sorry about Phobos. A few years ago my cat Pepper was diagnosed with kidney failure too, and I had to put her to sleep a few days later. I still miss her. Hope you feel better soon.

I am so sorry about Phobos. I have had my share of pet losses in the past year and totally feel your pain. *hug* Of all the days you needed to get out of work and it had to be a crappy day on top of it. Sending you good vibes.

thank you. I'm still trying to decide what to do with her cage and supplies. some of them like the wheel and food dish could be re-used but right now I really don't know if I want another rodent again.

I feel the same way. I very much need a break. I love them so much but their life span is too painful.
