This made me smile, which since I'm in the middle of a relapse is very important. It's interesting who one person and a bit of medical tech can change everything. Owen and Felix make a wonderful team. I love the shout back to Felix's time on New Caprica and the reality that yes, he really is a great liar. You did a good job of keeping everyone in character with lovely snarkiness all around. Dee/Owen makes me grin from ear to ear because both of them deserve each other for all the right reasons. Also, Felix gets to be the guide :) and Jack gets conned :) :) :)

So glad you liked this, and goodness, a relapse? That's terrible! So sorry, but I'm glad at least we had the power to make you smile.

This fic was totally pro-Felix and pro-Dee. Owen just happens to be trovia's favorite new character on Torchwood, which I got her into while I have been here. We're barreling our way through Season 2 and it just made her want to write crossover fic. I for my part, have never read or written Torchwood fic, even though I've been a fan of the show since day one, but the second viewing has made me suddenly more interested in reading TW fic, and possibly interested in writing true TW fic, to my surprise.

Jack totally gets conned. I must say we took an evil glee in having Owen use Jack's own attempts to improve his team building skills sort of against him. ;)

Glad you liked. :) It was a lot of fun to write. We might even possibly expand it into a bigger story eventually. We kept talking on the train ride home today about how it could work.

I'm so happy that you liked this. I've developed a special fondness for Dee/Owen. Though, to be fair, I think Owen is being a bigger jerk than Jack here, what with all the lying and bringing the robots to Earth. But Team Torchwood has this problem where everybody is loyal only until something new and shiny comes their way.
