Everybody else would be regarded a hero for that stint at the trial, but not Gaeta.
Sometimes I hate the fleet. This is the same reason no one visited him in sickbay! *shakes fist*

I've been wanting to write a scene just like this but you've nailed it better than I could've. I like that Gaeta and Dee seem to have found closure on their Baltar, Lee, Kara issues. I like the "if we didn't laugh we'd cry" tone of their chat, the way they are relaxed and humourous in each others company. With the jokes and ambrosia passing between them this is a very comfortable scene. I swear the only reason I don't want a Gaeta/Dee hook up is I like them so much as friends. And with the way romances go on BSG maybe friendship is the sanier option.
I love your Dee, especially the little mention of poor Billy, how she felt some solidarity with Anders and how the only thing she regrets about her break up was losing Adama as a father in law. I loved her squeeful reaction to Gaeta going for it with Hoshi.
Thanks again for writing this for me.

I'm realizing just now that I agree. I don't mind them as lovers but they're precious as friends. Huh.
Thanks again for writing this for me.
Pleasure's all mine. It was fun to write. I'm glad I wrote it the way you had it in mind.
