I love it.

I like that your fic doesn't follow the same pattern that others in this fandom do..Too many times I'm disappointed in Chuck fanfiction because the characters are so OOC. But you have creative stories and the characters don't step into OOC territory!

Can't wait for your next fic!

Wow, thanks. :) That's a great compliment to get. I probably shouldn't be writing so much fic, because I should be working, but well. It never seems to work like that.

I think I might be a little disturbed at just how well you seem to know and understand Casey...

Regardless, that was a fascinating character study!! The flashbacks were really well done. I still don't see it at all on the show, but I'm comfortable with your alternate canon of very, very, very deeply closeted Casey.

I'm drawing on my experience from writing Alastor Moody. Almost the same character. :D

Thank you very much! I must admit I don't see it on the show at all myself. I just think it's a lot of fun to write. ;)

Love the flash back scenes, getting to see some of the screwed up situations that made Casey the man that he is today. Great stuff, elaborating on his very short lines on the show about having been tortured and his first meeting with Ilsa.
Thanks so much for doing the big guy justice with your writing.

Thank you for that great comment. :) I'm glad you like it. I think Casey is an intriguing character just because there's so much hinting at his long past in those short lines. He's been an assassin, like, forever.

Oh man. Casey. I love the background you've given him even when it hurts. And the conversation between Casey and Ellie felt so real. Casey's whole life is being a spy, it's no great wonder that he felt so lost after losing that. And Ellie is so compassionate even knowing what she thinks she knows about John. Amazing story.
