Thank you! I'm so happy you like it. :) When you said you want to read more of that 25 words ficlet, I thought a drabble might be just the thing. :)

Well, I'm not attracted to guy characters, on general principle. But I'm still attracted to sex, so that works out fine. ;) Casey is fun to play with. He's so repressed.

LOL, I *loved* this!

With a character like Casey, it would be really easy to write an angsty story about him discovering he has an attraction to men. Writing comedy about it is a bit harder, especially since you don't want to play the gay guy for laughs, you know? You manage a really fun balance here and in so few words. Kudos!

Also, if there was *anyone* Casey might find himeslf unwillingly attracted to on sight, I could see it being Larkin. He's so classically handsome, it fits in well with Casey's rather straightfoward tastes. ;)

I thought a lot about whether Casey should be aware of the fact that he's gay, or trying to suppress it so hard that he'd never admit to it even to himself. But then I thought, after all that backstory I made up for him, he's old enough to have figured himself out. Still doesn't mean he'd be comfortable about it though, and able to accept it.

I agree on Bryce Larkin. He's ridiculously handsome. Also, he's the same physical type as Chuck. ;)

Oh snap. :D LOL!

The meme thing you were doing made me curious about what you'd written, and though you know I don't entirely ship Casey with anyone, this just seemed...promising. And yeah, it totally delivered. :D

I love this. *Nods* I love this image of Casey... :D *SQUEE* Just, guh. Nicely done. I'm adding this to my memories. ♥

Hee! I'm so pleased that you liked it despite preferring the gen! :D

When I got this prompt, I couldn't picture the pairing at all... so I had to improvise. ;)

Without meaning to push you into reading anything you don't have a taste for, you could also try my two plotty fics, Funkspiel and My Name Ain't Inigo Montoya. They're both kinda sorta slashy, except for the part where they are not, and none of them end with anybody starting a relationship with anybody. I meant to go there with the series, which this drabble is also a part of, but I haven't gotten around to it. I was sort of still working up to Casey/Chuck, gen girl that I am. ;)
