So many of your fics that I haven't read! I need to go read all of these! I especially want to read the Hotdog story. I'm saving that one for when I can give it my full attention. :-)
This fic is far from finished but if you knew how much trouble it gave me at first, you would immediately understand why it deserves a honorable mention. Aww, you like the hard ones. I neglect my hard-to-write fics when they are done and sometimes have trouble rereading them for awhile. They are like teenage children I don't get along with until I grow up after a few years. :-) But you love your fic babies, challenging ones and all. Yay, fic love! I hope you are having fun writing this story!
I still have to read quite some of your fics too. Especially the slash and femmeslash stories you pointed out to me one time.
I throw away a lot of fic. For every fic I post, there are two or three I start and don't finish, or that I finish but don't upload because they aren't very good and I don't feel like rewriting them.
I love seeing what people consider their own best fics and reading what they have to say about them. Can't say I disagree much with your list.
"How to Live and Love" isn't just one of my favorites of your fics, but one of my favorites of all time. I LOVE the friendship in that, and the way it very undramatically develops into love. I still really, really, really want to see someone remix it from Brendan's point of view :)

I'd love a remix of that fic so much. Don't you want to write it yourself? I bet it'd be an amazing story. :) (also, nobody else seems to care :D)
Speaking of remixing, I've actually been trying to outline a remix of "Freaks and Geeks". I've had that in mind ever since you talked about wanting a remix of that for Christmas. Incidentally, my other post today was in reference to that. I have no idea if my plotbunny will work out but it's fun to contemplate. :)

I've been debating it! Actually, I've been prepping for bsg_remix- we're about to start sign-ups. A little early this year, but as fandom interest seems to be waning and I'm tired of the slash-misogyny stuff, we figured we'd go ahead and get going. Right now I'm into a story for frolicdetour for help_haiti; a Cally fic! (Cally! I don't know why I've never written her, but she's turning out to be SO. Much. Fun!) Are you signing up for Remix this year? :)
Yes, I'll sign-up for Remix again. I'm already hating that I can't write as reliably as is usual, or as efficiently right now because I have a hard time focussing. But I still want to. It's too much fun to not do it. :)
Cally! Curious. I don't usually care a lot about her but I imagine she could be an intriguing character to write.
I love writing meta. Home has such a fascinating beginning & I so want to see the rest of it. I'm glad you mentioned it, hopefully that means you're still writing on it. Like you my really hard fics end up being some of my favorites. The end up growing up on me into this strange adult that I didn't quite expect and I end up going, "you're mine?"
How to Live & Love as an Amputee, by Brendan Costanza is one of my favorite fics of all time. It made me into a huge Hot Dog fan & I so wish we had some canon basis for putting those two together. Since we don't, that's what fanon is for. Of course, it was the inspiration for my Gaeta-Hot Dog friendship fics and my Hot Dog drew much on yours.
Thank you. That's a great compliment to get, especially since I loved your take of Hot Dog and Gaeta in Rap's 'verse. I consider it one of the best fics I've read of you so far. :)
I'll absolutely finish "Home", though it might take me some time. I'm still fighting with the depression issues and so I can't focus very well. Half of part 2 is written, I just need to find a good time to write the other half.

It also has the distinction of being the only RPF I've ever read, since I share that squick. It *was* really, really funny, and I'm glad I read it.
I'll add an "amen" to "How To Live And Love..." being a really excellent story, and I love "Stakes," too. I love that when I watch Season 1 now that I have an idea of who Chuckles is as a person, in a way. Plus, the idea of a go-to porn producer is pretty funny. :)
