I really like how their friendship evolves in this fic. It seems so plausible. Oh, and Kara helping him out with Boomer was really cute! Nice job.

Hey, I just got a look at this, browsing through your journal. This is really unexpectedly sweet. I like how you keep Kara totally in character, brash and vaguely bullying, but yet give her a human side, an implied generous heart. I loved the description of her kissing Tyrol. His reaction was so befuddled and turned on all at the same time, lol.

I especially liked this line:
Pausing, he blinked. For a moment it was hard to decide whether he should hug and kiss her (again) or possibly freak out because... Boomer.

Holy frak.

Fun. I love Season 1 Kara Thrace.

I'm happy that you think Kara is in character because she gave me a very hard time. It's gotten easier over time but in the beginning, it was awfully hard to get her lines right. It still feels kind of stilted to me in this fic although that might have to do with the fact that I remember all four drafts. ;)

Tyrol, however, will forever remain hard to write.
