These two are fun! I don't always know why they are friends, either. But I loved their little moment in Dirty Hands. "Be nice." I think common love of vipers is what they had in common and now, well so much shared experience on that deck.

Gen Kara (and Tyrol) is hard! I enjoyed reading this. :-)

Love this fic! There should be more friendship fics, especially with Kara in them. I can easily imagine a friendship between Tyrol and Kara starting this way, with Tyrols first impression being that he will hate her, and then an aborted frak started by Kara. Very nice.

Thank you! When I started thinking about them, I just couldn't picture Tyrol liking Kara from moment one. Tyrol is too much like Gaeta for that.

Me too. I guess there's an allure to fic about them because they're so different from each other? There are a couple fics too where they don't start out as friends.
