It is very Helo to give presents on his birthday (perhaps he was a hobbit in a prior life). It's also very much in Felix's character to return the favor and remain his friend. I love the story, even though knowing how this all ended it is inevitably a tragedy.

It really is very in character for him, isn't it? And hee! LotR/BSG fic! I don't know all that much about LotR, but if someone wrote fic about Galactica setting down on Middle Earth, I would love them forever. Especially if there were hobbits involved.

Wow! Extremely late to my own birthday present (I plead massive life crazy train and job stress and then loss of job stress) but this is so NEAT! I love your Gaeta and Helo- it's that element of besties that you see in whatever that crappy episode was with Bulldog that no one watched through twice unless they were watching for the Gaeta/Helo/Dualla moments. Helo is kind- but so is Gaeta, until the 987,098 jumps burn it out of him. LOVE this. Love it. Thank you so much!!!
