Yes, he goes up three or four times a year to check on his dear ones! And fortunately he managed to make it at the times of both Merry's and Pippin's weddings!

I love that Frodo could see his friends and family through the palantír, and that Legolas and Gimli were at Pippin's wedding. This is so heartwarming.
