61. Dream Boy ★★★★★ ♥ (I got to watch it!) (One of the best BL films I've watched. (as expected :P) Beautiful music, great shots (especially of nature) and to me - utterly sexy love scenes. (well, trailer reavealed it already... One negative aspect - well it left me all down... Very very sad, but the ending is beautiful (still) =( The main character is really depressing, but well it can't be any other way...

72. Milk ★★★★★ &hearts I hadn't supposed it to be SO good. I watched it after Hellraiser, because I was a lil' freaked out and wanted to watch smth which may be, I dunno, heartwarming? And it was, it really was... The ending reminded me of movies about... saints, priests, popes? The atmosphere, the big words that were really meant. And I cried :( which is still rather rare of me. Sean Penn was absolutely great (and cute), I'm so glad he won an Oscar <3 Milk &hearts Ah, and, I also hadn't thought there'd be quite an amount of cuteBL scenes:D

Not my type of film afterall (kinda sad teenage stories?), but it was nevertheless good and interesting, and good music! Must get soundtrack, which isn't easy. I must admit I'm disappointed with the bl thread, I was expecting smth different... Someone on wikipedia, please write more about the plot, maybe I'll get more that way :

84. Another Country ★★★★ I'd watch any movie with Everett and Firth, and also a gay one... Not a surprise I was delighted to see it. Unfortunately my british-english-without-subs isn't good enough for this one. Re-watch needed if it ever appears on tv or torrent :P Nevertheless - good. Deep. One of the final scenes with main characters talking about homosexuality issues is quite unforgettable. Everett ♥
85. The next best thing ★★★ I've heard critics hated it, but haven't known that they hated it SO much xD Well, I probably don't have any good taste in movies then, because well... I can't say I hated it. I've never seen another movie on this particular subject before and therefore it was interesting. What was lousy was shots, then, when come to think of it, acting in general, and ugly unknown men XD;; (but to me Everett wasn't bad or that bad :p, and charming as always. Maybe, as he said himself, he's not a good actor, but he just shows his impish, adorable and mean-in-a-charming-way self on screen??)

Cause japanese ones seem/are fangirl-only -_-' There should be some different category for them... When to think of it, when something's not on wikipedia, it's that kind of bl movie XD;;;]
92. Asymmetry ★★★★/★★★ A J /★★★ for the ending which seemed... silly, possibly purely yaoi-avoiding(?) But well, I watched the movie raw (O_o ! XD) Generally as for japanese shounen-ai, it suprised me in a good way. Well at least in better than others I've watched lately. The actors could show emotions on their faces. Plus there was some kind of a real gay-life part, not mild schoolboys only. But hell, Shin was too much of a pretty girl.. >XD
93. Maurice ★★★★ Early XX-century England and [SPOILER IN WHITE] a happy ending! plus utterly adorable Hugh Grant makes... Damn, my descriptions are so childish. Good movie, a well-constructed and well-played one... Doesn't make you disappointed after you finish watching it, which is kind of rare when it comes to this genre. And yes, Hugh Grant ;P (another british well-known actor~ waitin' for more~ XD [Since those two are kinda similar, I now wonder which one is better: Maurice or Another Country Need to rewatch the latter to decide.]
94. Four Weddings and a Funeral R ★★★★ At first it seem just a overly cynical movie about constant weddings, but then it gets depper, and it gets good. Added because it had been on the mighty list XD but watched from different reasons.

96. Hedwig and the Angry Inch T ★★★★ I couldn't help comparing it with Rocky Horror (blame wikipedia, I shouldn't) ...well, not quite THAT fun. The slow ballad side of glam. I liked it, but didn't love it, (since) it seemed to lose pace towards the end... (And damn, Tommy Gnosis aka Michael Pitt reminded me of Jared Leto (mainly as Hephaeistion) so much... What's funny, his guitarist also reminded me of Jared Leto :p *from one movie I've only seen screencaps from* :p).
97. Fingersmith L (and G xD x3) ★★★★ (7/10) The first part was rather engrossing, but the second one, having a more complicated plot, at the same time seemed chaotic to me and even boring at times. Still, Victorian-like England, thieves' intrigues and girl romance make an interesting story... with its mental insitutions, hangings to the neck and cruel uncles in prison-like halls... ;)

99. Wonder Boys ★★★★★/★★★★ &hearts Actually it's 9,5/10. It deserves ten though I guess, because it's really a good, unordinary, interesting movie, realistic and overly crazy at the same time - just like the life could be? They bl plot - I love so much I shouldn't write about it :P - even though all the relationships in this movie are sexless, which rather surprised me (Robert Downey Jr. is... is... so charminggg *yes, primitive fangirl taking over*). So maybe, let's move to the acting... which is great. I loved Michael Douglas, I loved Tobey Maguire (great performance... his James character is truly a one of its kind), and, as I said, Downey ('Crabtree... he just continued being Crabtree'). As a little writer myself, I was happy to watch a movie about writers - and learn from it a bit, and see that I have similar writing-issues... Oh boy. Again, like with Zodiac lately (Downey too lol) I hadn't expected it to be so good - afterall, it's certified fresh pic on rottentomatoes. Maybe actually I dp have a good taste :P And, last but not least - it leaves you with a warm, optimistic feeling [you can change your life], and that is a very good movie-quality.
100. Black and White ★★★★ and ♥ for Robert Downey Jr. / ★★★ [how funny, those two movies were actually in the opposite order in Downey's career. And I watched this one just now, and Wonder Boys some time ago, 'bout 1,5 week It's an R but since the gay part was major, I count it xD xD So about the gay part... it was fabulous as Terry Donager. 100 and 1 percent [stereothypically?] gay. That is a wow. [omgg he so can act. Changed his voice almost, or like Philip Seymour Hoffman in "Capote". Besides this plot, the movie is "nice" (well in a "" because the word doesn't suit well the happenings in the film), but then, just as crtics say, in my words - is kind of like puzzles that don't really fit each other in the end. Some link between the random scenes is missing... Some point maybe... It's interesting though that this movie is based on improvisation. [hmmm...] Then I'd say it's a good one, but well, at the same time maybe that is one of the reasons why it's so messy. And a [SPOILER] James Toback is a genious! [and I knew it] Robert Downey Jr. and Jared Leto [holding hands] together at the end All shiny and stylish walking down the street with tonnes of shopping bangs hanging around them... I guess I went straight xD up to heaven that moment. And then repeated it and went there again.
