This hit me like a ton of bricks, even though it'l never be written-
Our beloved Monitor, sometime before the game, was having a vicious showdown with some Gridbugs. It was a tough fight, and even as it ends, he's still on full battle mode, high-strung, energy levels spiking... And he suddenly realizes that he is feeling very weird - aroused, of course, but this is the first time it happened, so he has no idea.
His first though is to go and seek advice, but the feeling is really persistent and distracting... riding a bike is torture. So he eventually pulls into some hidden little corner and hopes that it'll pass
