So now that Joseph Kozinski has basically all but 100% confirmed the THIRD TRON MOVIE! We get to see the tentative cast list for the movie. I think a few things are suspect (such as Zed showing up), but it makes me think more and more that we might actually get this third movie at some point ( Read more... )

I'd love for this to be the real deal, although I'm worried that the nod to Uprising via Zed could very well mean the final nail in Uprising's casket.

Considering that Disney just killed Clone Wars, I'm not sure holding out for Tron:Uprising's return will be worth it, but if Zed showed up in the movie I wouldn't mind. I also think that it could just be someone's random edit since it appears that anyone with an IMDB account can edit the page.

Wow, how did I miss the Clone Wars death?? Although there's a logic to that at least, and it had an excellent run. One I was hoping Uprising would replicate.

Well, fingers and toes crossed. And I suppose I could ask Nate to confirm or deny since I'm on his friends list on Twitter.

I loved Clone Wars and wish I had watched more of it. The good thing is that the supervising director has been tapped to do the next series of whatever Disney wants to do with Star Wars. The only thing is, as far as I understand it they are not going to let the series come to a definitive ending. (Unlike a show like FRINGE which was given time to wind down with its last season). :(

I'm torn about what Disney has been doing to the Star Wars franchise, but ultimately I'm hopeful that with the restructuring things will actually be pushed in the right direction.

My sister and I met Bruce Boxleitner at Wonder Con, and he told us not to give up hope. So... *fingers crossed*

I've seen articles that say that Bruce is definitely confirmed for the 3rd tron movie, though this may or may not have been confirmed by the studio.

(for instance this website has him confirming his own return
http://screenrant.com/tron-3-confirmed-rob-129649/)

This is why it doesn't say "rumored" on the IMDB page. So yes I think we are moving towards a go ahead!
