I have to agree about I Fagiolini (There's an amusing story about their name related to "bean- music" and the prevalence of vegetarians among lovers/players of early music.) The concert we heard was in Spivey Hall, which has to be one of the premier concert halls in the world -- located, in, believe it or not, Jonesboro, GA. An ideal venue for these gorgeous voices, their wit, and their obvious love of the music.
Anyone who loves a capella vocal music from the renaissance and the 20th/21st centuries, should take any opportunity to hear them! I'll be looking for their CDs. Apparently they also have done some work with South African musicians and have a CD out combining traditional South African vocal music and musicians and themselves. Unfortunately it's out of print, but if enough of us request it at www.ifagiolini.com they may reprint!

I've been a bit busy to post but will try to get more up there sometime soon.
I'm amused by Il fagioli; I look forward to hearing more about that name at some point.
