I think every companion is aware of how stupid the Doctor can be.

Still working on the other prompts, just I'm going away for the weekend and wanted to get the first batch up. :-)

I don't know if *every* companion is aware - I can think of at least one who doesn't show much awareness of the Doctor's stupidity...

I only have one real life friend who I talk about the old series with. Actually, I don't really talk about the old series much online...but thats not my point. Talking to him about the old series, he can not see why I think that 10/Romana would make such a great couple! He understands Sarah/Harry, but nothing else.

I have a surprising amount of friends who I can talk about classic to in real life. Admittedly, some of them it's my fault that they've started watching it now. Most of them want Romana back. This means because of Richard Dawkins being on Who, I've been informed of the slight possibility of Lalla being on it too an obscene amount.
