Thanks! The other one was beginning to make me cringe, so I was kind of desperate to do something about it.

I've just submitted it. I know most people will hate it (mainly for the ending) but never mind. It's still fairly early in the month - I think there'll be some more interesting entries entered later on.

Yeah. I've just decided I come up with ridiculously angsty things with a migraine. I can't help it - I need to take it out on something and it's better that it's fictional characters, right?

Thank you! :-)

(Hah. Yes.)

Yeah, I still use mine pretty frequently. If I was in the same position, I wouldn't have bothered changing it.

I know. It's a shame - darker fics sometimes seem very popular in the fandom, but when it comes down to it, they're never the ones who get support in polls and stuff. (Unless, of course, it's an angst-specific category.)

I'll be happier when this one is gone. I want to start planning one of my three new fics, but I'm not sure I can write plans that make any sense right now.

Wow! Thank you so much for writing this, I absolutely love it. I don't really know what else to say. :p It all just felt very real and I liked the whole 'kill & get promoted' thing. The hints of J/L where also great. I envy your writing skills.

Oh, and I have to say the the I actually loved the last part; though it was sad, I just have a huge things for angsty/realistic endings. I know I'm twisted.. but meh.

:)

I'm so, so glad you enjoyed it and that there was a sense of realism to it. I'm always aiming for that whenever I write, so thank you!

Me too! A lot of people like angst but only with a hopeful ending. I just go with whatever fits - so I'm glad you liked that too. :-)
