Oh my... Vicadin... Wheee!

I mentioned in an earlier post that I was not going to fill my Viacdin prescription right away because I have a philosophical issue with just getting or taking meds because I can. Especiaily when it's something narcotic. It turns out, too, that this is the "extra strength" version (higher dose) because I'd happened to mention to the endodontist

It just makes me sleep as a side effect. No happy buzz, just pain cessation and sleep. Of course, driving is right out of the question. :)

Well, I did get some nausea and vomiting this morning. I understand Vicadin can do this... icky. 3:30am was my last dose, so I'm gonna stop that and switch back to ibuprofen. But so far this morning no pain. :-)
