I would have had a heart attack if that happened to me. While I was in college I would email my papers to myself and create a backup on disk. We weren't allowed to turn in our papers via email and had to produce paper copies in person. But because I worry so much I had all these backup plans just in case I lost my paper or dropped it in a big puddle of water. LOL

I'm glad it worked out for you and shame on the professor for not double checking before emailing you. I guess the phone saved the day but then again if you didn't have the phone you wouldn't have been stressed. Hopefully he would have realized his error and emailed you again before you got home.
