Ottawa - a type of grind

I have a feeling there's something going on with my teeth. Specifically, the rear right side of my jaw. There's pain and pressure there, and it's very uncomfortable. It's a kind of pain that's waking me up from sleep, and making it difficult to fall back to sleep. For some reason, it really only affects me when I'm lying down. Sounds like an abscess. Good idea to get it dealt with now. Those infections can move to your lymph nodes and brain and stuff. Icky.

scott had these exact symptoms- molar/jaw pain, esp. at night & when lying down- for two weeks last month. he knew he had to go to the dentist but he was on a deadline so he avoided it. it turned out he had a bigass cavity in his wisdom tooth, which was also somewhat impacted. he got it pulled, which was no big deal (local anaesthetic, he was back at work within an hour). then he drooled blood all over my pillow that night (cute!) and had some pain for the next week, and that was that ( ... )

Thanks, one toof. You rock mightily. I'm going to have to try to make an appointment with a dentist - at this point, any dentist, 'cos I don't have one in the city - for a Monday once I'm back in TO. I like the "once he went to the dentist, he was fine" part of the whole thing.
