What is a Big Bang?
A fandom-generated fic challenge with the specific goal of producing longfic! In our case, we're hoping everyone will reach wordcounts of at least 8k. What we are trying to accomplish here is to make a cheering-squad/motivational group for OT3 writers in kpop fandom, because as of right now they are few and far between. But this brings us to our next question...
What is an OT3?
Well according to tvtropes.org, it is the One True Threesome. It's just like One True Pairing, except there are 3 characters involved; most often this means the Hero, the Love Interest, and one of their friends with whom they've had homoerotic subtext at some point. That way everybody's happy, the sex is kinkier, and no matter who's involved, there's always a little homoeroticism happening! (Or a lot, depending on if your OT3 is all male/all female).
Are there Rules for this here shindig?
✬ Sign-up for an OT3 (or go with undecided, that's fine too) in the comments to this post. A claim isn't ownership though, it's just to help everyone see who is doing what. And by all means, if you want to write fic for the same OT3 as someone else, go for it!
✬ Are OT4s welcome? Abso-friggin-lutely. Pick any # > than OT2, pretty much.
✬ Check in periodically during our weekly (or bi-weekly? You guys pick!) discussion posts for an invigorating round of wip-sharing, hand-holding, gif-posting, random spazzing and flailing and procrastination-busting chat sessions.
✬ Deadlines? (Oh right, those things. I like them. I like the sound they make as they whizz by...) Nothing concrete decided yet. For now, we'll say end of summer is the goal you should keep in mind.
