A couple of Wednesdays after Karaoke Night startsRating: NC-17
With two karaoke Wednesdays under the belt, the third feels like a breeze. It hasn't quite taken off, Jack noticed, but there's an increase in people from the Wednesdays without anything at all. At the moment, unable to take another karaoke duet of Seether and Amy Lee's 'Broken,' Jack has retreated upstairs under the guise of important business. In reality, he's checking his email.
Jack is going to find his computer being taken over by his accountant.
Jack blinks when he walks into his office to find Ianto at his desk. "Er, hey you."
"Hey," Ianto says, glancing up. Ianto feels ill at ease on Wednesdays without Jack at home. Its strange, though its was even stranger coming in without needing to head to the booth.
"Come to share in the ear-bleeding goodness?" he asks, moving over to his desk to perch on the corner near Ianto.
"I needed the latest numbers," Ianto replies, turning back to the monitor. He's not ignoring you Jack, he's just working.
Jack sits there for a moment, watching Ianto work, before he slips away and gets a bottled water from his strategically hidden minifridge. He settles on the couch and more or less has himself a break.
Ianto still hasn't figured, which place to be at is stranger on Wednesdays. For now he's content to work, wincing every so often at the horribleness coming from downstairs.
Jack only feels a little awkward, trying not to disturb Ianto while he works.
"You taking a break?" Ianto asks.
"Yeah. I'm not bothering you, am I? I just wanted to get away from the noise."
"No," Ianto shakes his head.
"Good," he answers softly, settling down on the couch more fully.
"You wanna take a dinner break?" Ianto asks.
Jack glances at his watch and smiles. "Sure. Want me to bring something up? Or do you want to brave downstairs?"
Ianto cringes at the idea of going downstairs. "I think I'd rather stay up here." Though really, Ianto would was going to suggest going out, but he's not sure if Jack would be even interested in that.
"I'm not sure what Ki has cooking tonight, to be honest. She had cheese when I went in earlier."
"Well her food is always good." Ianto agrees.
Jack pulls himself to his feet. "I can bring something up." It's kind of the usual, but Jack doesn't mind.
"Sure," Ianto doesn't sound very thrilled with that. It could be because he's distracted.
"Unless you wanted to sneak out the back and go somewhere?" Jack suggests, thinking Ianto sounds bored.
"You sure, you can slip away?" Ianto asks, perking just a bit. He does like this idea.
Jack smiles. "Sure can. C'mon, get your coat. We can sneak off to wherever you like."
Ianto grins at him, "Let me just save my work." He turns back to the computer, saving everything and then ejects the flash drive, which he pockets. "Ready!"
Jack has found his coat -- his proper one, not the leather jacket -- and shrugged into it. Once Ianto is ready, he heads for the back exit from his office and holds the door open for Ianto. The door leads out onto a fire escape, with stairs winding down to the employee parking lot behind the club.
Ianto follows him out, pulling his coat (which had been draped over the back of Jack's chair) on as he goes. He can't help but smile, going out with Jack is rather a rare treat.
They should really go out more often, Jack thinks. Add more dating to, well, dating. "What are you in the mood for?"
Ianto wraps an arm around Jack, and smiles at him. "I couldn't care less, I just want to go out with you."
"Pub's too noisy," he decides, leaning in to kiss Ianto's cheek. "Chip Alley's out, even on a Wednesday. Maybe that diner sort of place down the street?"
"Blue Box?"
"Yup," he answers. They do good pie. "We could walk, if you want. Not that far."
"Sure," Ianto agrees, leaning close to the other man. Its cold, but that just means an opportunity to snuggle close to Jack.
And Jack loves the opportunity. He budges up close to Ianto and leads the way down to the little diner.
"I think the cold is nicer than those people torturing poor animals in there."
"I'm waiting for someone to bust out Stand By Your Man," Jack jokes.
"Oh god," Ianto groans.
He laughs. "It'd be great."
"Oh god, next you'll be suggesting I do it."
"You could! If you remember to do it badly."
"No," Ianto growls.
He grins, holding open the door for Ianto once they reach the diner. "In a horrible Russian accent?"
"No," Ianto shakes his head. "Just forget it."
He laughs. "You should sing, though. I'd love to hear you sing."
"I will sing to you at home"
"Aww. Just there?" He pouts a little.
"Just there," Ianto states.
He'll continue to pout as they're shown to a booth and offered menus.
Ianto settles across from Jack and smiles at him. He'll make a note of that though, Valentine's is only about a week away and Ianto is planning, since it falls on Monday this year.
They're damn lucky it does, too. Jack settles into the booth and takes off his coat before looking at the menu. "I think I need some coffee."
"They used to have decent coffee, their tea is better."
"Used to?" Jack checks their teas, since Ianto knows what he's talking about with this sort of thing.
"Used to, as in I used to come here every so often. I haven't been in a while."
"Might try some tea, then. Anything warm."
"The owner was a tea drinker, if memory serves, so it should still me be good."
Well, when the waiter comes over to take their order, Jack will have some hot tea, then.
Ianto decides to go with water. "So, when did you come here to find out about the pie?"
Jack laughs. "A while ago. I swear, this place has been here almost as long as the Hub has."
"No idea, certainly been here since I've been working at the Hub." Ianto shrugs.
"I like it," he says. "I think I came in here with Alex and few times, hell. Go figure."
Ianto nods, "Really?" He's curious about Alex, but Jack doesn't seem to want to talk about him.
"Yeah," he confirms simply. That's a lot happier a memory than walking in on the eventual murder-suicide.
"Tell me about it?" Ianto asks.
"What's to know?" he teases, settling back in the booth with a small. "It was the 90s. Bad haircuts, worse music."
"And you were dating a man named Alex, who were also in business with." This is the sum of Ianto's knowledge, besides the way he dies, but he doesn't mention that.
"Yup," Jack answers, smiling a little teasingly. "What would you like to know?"
"That obvious am I?" Ianto asks, amused that Jack saw through him.
"Little bit." That and Ianto asked to know more about how they used to come here. "That and ... I don't talk about it much."
Ianto reaches out and covers Jack's hand and squeezes. "And I understand why." He considers for a moment, "How about how you met and got together?" He's hoping that's a relatively happy memory. "I mean I know you were in the armed forces together."
"Sort of, yeah," he says, smiling a little. "We were in the same action at the same time, separate forces. We kept in touch after our tours and when I left the army, I decided to come over here."
"To visit or was there already a mutual attraction?"
"Nah, we were military, you know? You don't talk about it, you definitely don't do anything." Jack just shakes his head. "I liked him, but I liked a lot of guys that I just wouldn't pursue."
"So did you come to visit him or just play tourist and run in?" Ianto asks.
"Came to visit. Some guys, when they get out of the military, they really don't know what to do with themselves. I figured, hey, see another country ... and I didn't really do much with my pay while I was in, so I had some extra cash and he had a couch to sleep on."
Ianto nods, "So you started sleeping on his couch, saw some sites, and...?"
"And got a job," he says with a shrug. "I liked it here. I wanted to stay." He grins. "You're waiting for the part where we get together, right?"
"Yes!" Ianto exclaims, rolling his eyes, because Jack is drawing this out to torture him, he's sure.
"I think I spent the whole time we were living together pining for him, you know? I went out, I hooked up, but there was Alex and I had this thing for him. When we decided to go into business together, we went out to celebrate ... got completely trashed on tequila and stumbled home. And ... I kissed him."
"Drunken kisses, sounds familiar" Ianto teases.
Jack laughs. "Yeah, sorry, I get really horny when I'm drunk." The waiter picks an opportune time to return, doesn't he?
Ianto's eyes flash, "I'll have to remember that." He glances at the waiter and orders soup and a sandwich.
Jack laughs and orders a burger.
Ianto waits for the waiter to go, "So second thoughts afterwards or was it the start of the relationship then?"
"Second thoughts. I apologized, told him I was really drunk, Lucia just left me ... all that, you know? I didn't want him to think I was a fag or anything." Which is hilarious, now that he thinks about. "See how the military fucks a guy up?"
"Yeah, I guess so," Ianto agrees, before grinning wickedly at Jack. "Especially considering how gay you are."
Jack rolls his eyes. "Yeah, yeah."
"So, when did you finally get together?"
"When we weren't drunk," he answers, grinning. "It was a while later. We were renovating the building that would end up being the club. Cutting costs by doing some painting ourselves, you know? I don't even know how it happened. One minute I'm painting, the next I'm covered in paint, pushed up against the wall ... "
"And it just went from there?" Ianto suggest, smiling at Jack.
"Ohhh yeah," he answers, with a glazed look.
"Sounds incredibly romantic and kinky," Ianto agrees.
"It was. I wanted to keep the impression my butt left in the paint, but he made me do it over the next day."
Ianto laughs, because Jack would do that. "Horrible you are."
"I am. I really am. But Alex was ... voracious." Yes. Voracious. He grins.
"Worse than you?" Ianto says, eyes widening. "I don't think that's possible."
"Hey, don't say that like a healthy sexual appetite is a bad thing."
"It isn't a bad thing," Ianto agrees, nodding. "You must have been worn out.'
"Entirely." Jack leans back in his seat and smiles. "Worked up my stamina, though."
"I bet," Ianto agrees.
Jack smirks. "So, what else? We shagged a lot, we had a good business going, I fell in love with him."
Ianto nods, "That's good for now, if I think of anything else, I'll ask."
That's surprising and Jack only pauses for a moment. "You don't want to know about how he died?"
"You said he killed himself," Ianto says softly.
"He did," Jack confirms, looking down briefly. "He wasn't crazy, though."
"I'm sure, he wasn't," Ianto agrees. He leans forward and squeezes Jack's hand.
Jack smiles a little tightly. "I knew he was doing drugs," he admits, "but I didn't think it was that serious, you know?"
Ianto nods, "Yeah, you can overlook a lot, because you love a person."
Jack sighs. "I just figured ... he'd seen some stuff that he couldn't forget, you know? That I couldn't help him with. I wanted to, I just didn't know how."
Ianto nods, "It must have been hard for both of you." He pulls Jack's hand to him and kisses it.
"We really didn't talk about it," he says lamely, smiling at the kiss. "I should have tried harder. Maybe that's why I ... " He trails off and shrugs a little.
"You blame yourself?" Ianto asks.
"I do, but ... maybe that's why I'm so weird about us sometimes, you know? Maybe that's why I pushed you to move in with me when you were in the cast. Maybe that's ... why I want you to be okay, even if I'm not."
"It's okay, I'm not mad at you for that," Ianto shakes his head.
"I know. Just ... it helps to know, right?"
Ianto nods, "Clearly, we need to stay healthy for each other's sanity." He certainly didn't handle Jack being sick very well.
"Apparently," he agrees, grinning. "I'll promise not to get the flu ever again if you promise not to get hit by a bike messenger."
"Deal," Ianto agrees, offering Jack his pinky.
"I don't think I should pinky swear on something I've been sarcastic over," he murmurs, grinning.
"Oh," Ianto pouts, "You got my hopes up."
"I promise not to get too upset if you ever get sick or injured?"
"I think I'd rather know if you were freaking out."
"So, what should we compromise on?"
"I have no idea, maybe we should just accept we're going to freak out when it happens."
"And love each other despite it?" he asks softly, linking his pinky with Ianto's.
"Exactly," Ianto agrees.
"Then it's settled, hm?"
"Yes," Ianto agrees.
Jack pulls Ianto's hand across the table and kisses the back of it. Then, grinning a little wicked, he turns Ianto's hand over to kiss at his wrist.
"Don't tease me, when you have to go back to work Jack."
"I can always make time for you," he murmurs.
"I know."
He smiles and lets Ianto's hand go, as their food has arrived.
Ianto pulls his hand away. He smiles at Jack across the table. "There anything you’ve been dying to ask me?" he asks, because he kind of tried to get Jack to talk about his past so much.
"Yeah, actually," Jack answers, reaching for the ketchup for his chips. "You like Nutella?"
"Never had it actually," Ianto says, arching an eyebrow.
"Pffft," Jack answers, offering one of his chips over. "Alice wants banana and Nutella sandwiches."
Ianto declines, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Do you want me to stop and pick up some?"
"Nah, I'll get some later. Haven't had nutella for years."
"I can stop on my way home," Ianto doesn't think he's going to go back to the club.
"If you want," Jack concedes, not sure what Ianto's going to go ... but it sounds like they'll be going home separately.
Ianto shrugs, "Its no problem."
"Thank you," Jack murmurs, smiling.
Ianto smiles at him, "So your big question was about nutella?"
"Yup," he answers. "That's the biggest question I've got."
"Nothing about my past relationships?" Ianto asks, taking a spoonful of soup.
Jack shrugs a little, taking the tomato off his burger. "Is that a hint you've got something you want to tell me?"
"Nope," Ianto shakes his head.
"Anything I should be particularly curious about?"
"Is there anything you're curious about?" Ianto asks.
Jack pauses, then looks up from his plate. "Well, yeah ... I just don't know if it's my place to ask."
"Ask," Ianto instructs, smiling at him.
Jack eats a chip between Ianto's answer and his actual question. "Why so many medical bills?" he finally asks, voice soft and sympathetic. "Some sort of treatment at a private hospital? Something experimental the NHS wouldn't cover?"
Ianto's eyes widen briefly, before looking down. "We... we had specialist flown in."
"And you paid out of pocket for it?" he guesses, frowning a little.
"He was from Japan."
Jack nods. "You wanted to exhaust all your options."
"Yeah," Ianto nods, "He may have been the best specialist in the field, but he was scum. I was with Lisa during a lot of her physicals, never seen a doctor be so handsy before."
Jack looks ... appalled. "He didn't do anything, did he?"
"Groped her and it was during when her bad times, so she was kind of out of it and never realized it. I was uncomfortable the first time I saw him with her, so I made sure they weren't alone. I thought I was just being jealous, overreacting until a nurse mentioned it to me."
"So ... what did you do?" he wonders, frowning.
"The nurses help me keep watch, but we all wanted to see if he could do something. When he didn't produce any results, we sent him back to Japan."
"I'm sorry," Jack murmurs, reaching cross the table to touch Ianto's hand lightly.
"So, anyway, we still got stuck with his hotel bill and plane ticket." Ianto isn't going to mention that Tanizaki ran up the room-service bill as well.
"And how long was he there?" Jack wonders, thinking Ianto's debt might be a little disproportionate.
"Long enough," Ianto shrugs.
Jack nods, figuring he's picked enough at the wound. "Sorry."
"It's okay, I'm paying it off slowly, but surely." Ianto manages a smile. "You can ask me whatever you want Jack."
"I just feel like I'm prying, to be honest." He smiles a little. "It'll be paid off eventually."
"You aren't, we're together," Ianto murmurs. "I want to share with you."
He nods. "All right."
"Sometimes, I don't know what to say though, so..."
"Don't think about it," Jack suggests. "Just ... tell me whatever you need or want."
"Just as long as you know to ask," Ianto instructs with a small smile.
"Yeah, that might be a problem," Jack answers honestly. "I'm not a mind reader."
"Ask if there's something you want to know,"
Jack settles back in his seat and turns his attention to his food. "Sure."
Ianto smiles at him, before going back to his meal. He's wondering how to ask Jack his opinion on the upcoming holiday. After all, some people don't like Valentine's Day.
Jack has agreed to special menu and drink selections for the weekend leading up to Valentine's Day, so he can't be against it.
He might be doing it for the customers and the increased revenue. "Henryk called the other day."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah, he was complaining about how he couldn't find a sitter for Valentine's Day." Ianto is clearly a master of subtlety here. "He was wondering if I knew anyone who disliked the holiday."
Ianto is the master of subtlety. "Was he getting you to baby-sit?"
"No, he was asking me if I knew anyone who didn't like it and would be free to babysit." Ianto doesn't mind it.
"Well ... we haven't really made any plans, have we? If he really wants, we could watch the sprog. He'd owe is big time, though." Jack isn't giving up the goods that easily.
"Do you want to do something?"
"I thought we might, but we've not made any plans and it's ... almost time, right?"
"I've been looking into some things," Ianto admits.
"Oh, yeah?" he asks, grinning.
"If you're interested," Ianto suggests.
"Of course I'm interested."
"Ok," Ianto nods, and smiles at him, "Then leave it to me."
"We could see if Alice has plans, see if she could baby-sit for Henryk."
"Sounds like a good plan," Ianto says, before taking a bite of his sandwich. He likes this idea.
Jack doesn't think Alice has any plans, given that she's hugely pregnant at the moment. "I'll ask her tomorrow."
"Okay," Ianto grins. He's excited about this, because all he needs to do is make reservations. "I'll take care of our Valentine's Day plans."
"All right," he agrees, smiling. Whatever Ianto has planned will be great.
Ianto finishes up his sandwich, smiling at Jack, "You're going to love it."
"I'm sure I will," Jack says, enjoying his burger.
Ianto reaches over and steals a chip to nibble on, before he goes back to his soup.
He laughs. "I see you didn't get anything I could steal," Jack points out, still looking smug.
"Would you like a bite of my soup Jack?"
"No thanks, I've got more than enough, right here."
"Don't say I didn't offer then," Ianto murmurs, popping the rest of the chip in his mouth.
"I would never," he answers primly.
"Better not," Ianto smirks, taking a spoonful of soup.
"Not ever," Jack promises, reaching for more ketchup to drown his chips in.
Ianto settles down to finish eating his soup.
Jack doesn't take much longer to finish his burger and chips.
Ianto smiles at him, glancing discreetly at his watch. The bus that comes isn't due for another fifteen minutes, so he settle for the moment. "Was it good?"
"Entirely," Jack answers. "How was yours?"
"Delicious," Ianto says with a shrug.
"You shrug a lot," Jack observes lightly.
"Does it bother you?" Ianto asks.
"It just makes it hard to figure out how you feel."
"Sorry?" Ianto asks.
"I always take shrugs as one of those clues that a person doesn't really care, you know? Maybe I'm misreading."
"Yeah, I can try and stop," Ianto offers.
"I'm not being critical," Jack corrects. "I'm not ... telling you to change, Ianto. I'm just saying."
"I do care Jack, especially when it concerns you."
Jack nods. "Okay."
"Sometimes, I have a lot conflicting feelings, and I'm not sure how I feel overall."
"You know you can always talk to me, right? About anything?"
"I know," Ianto nods. The waiter comes by to clear their plates and asks if they want some dessert. Ianto glances at Jack, arching an eyebrow to see if the other man is interested.
"Want to split a slice of pie?" he asks Ianto.
"What kind of pie?" Ianto asks.
"I'm a general pie fan. What are you in the mood for?"
"Apple with ice cream," Ianto says.
"Apple with ice cream it is," Jack tells the waiter.
The waiter nods and heads out. Ianto smiles at Jack. "You realize I'll eat most of the ice cream."
"That's all right, it's too cold out for ice cream." At least for him.
"Never too cold for ice cream."
Jack laughs softly and gently nudges Ianto's foot with his own under the table. "Never too late for pie, either."
"Yep," Ianto agrees, stroking Jack's thigh with his own foot.
Jack looks a little surprised, but grins at Ianto. "So what's the plan after dinner?"
"I think I'm going to head back to the house," Ianto decides.
"Want me to take you?" he offers, glancing at his watch.
"I can catch the bus." He doesn't mind catching the bus.
"Let me drive you. You won't have to wait out in the cold."
"I don't mind, you're going to have to get back to work."
"I'm driving you," Jack insists.
"No, I'm a big boy, I can handle a little cold."
"But you're my boyfriend," Jack murmurs, "and I want to take care of you."
"Go make money then," Ianto tells him, giving him a half-smile.
Jack frowns a little and nods. "Sure."
"Besides, I paid for the bus pass, I better use it."
He nods again. "Yeah, I guess so."
"Thank you for the offer though," Ianto says softly.
"You're welcome," Jack says, kind of diplomatically.
The waiter appears at that time with the pie a la mode along with two forks. He sets it between them and then disappears. Ianto nudges it closer for Jack, so that he can have the first bite.
Jack obliges, picking up one of the forks and having a bite of the pie.
"Is it good?" Ianto asks, picking up the other fork.
"Very," he answers. "Pie here is always good."
Ianto reaches over and takes a bite, making sure to get plenty of ice cream on it.
Jack leaves most of the ice cream for Ianto, taking another bite of the pie.
Ianto will share the ice cream, offering Jack some on the end of his fork.
Oh, well, how can he deny that? Jack leans in to take the bite of ice cream. "Mm."
"Thought you might like that," Ianto smirks.
"I do," he murmurs, nudging his foot against Ianto's again.
Ianto smiles, nudging the foot back as he takes another bite out of the pie.
"What are you doing with the rest of your night off?" he wonders, rubbing his foot up the inside of Ianto's calf.
"Working on budget at home, waiting for you to come."
He raises both eyebrows at that. "Oh, yeah?"
"Its weird knowing you're working and be home without you." Ianto admits. He misses Jack.
"It's only Wednesdays," he says softly. "You'll get used to it."
"Yeah," Ianto agrees, frowning. He doesn't like it though.
"I should be home in a few hours," Jack promises.
"I know."
"You don't have to wait up ... if it'd be easier to get some sleep?"
"I can't sleep that well without you."
"Then I'll be home in a few hours. Gwen's locking up tonight." He could probably get out a little earlier.
"She is?" Ianto is kind of surprised by that.
"Yeah," he confirms.
"I didn't know you were having her do that."
Jack shrugs a little. "Yeah, we're trying it on Wednesdays."
"Oh," Ianto frowns, feeling like he's missing stuff now.
"Do you think it's a bad idea?"
"No, I'm sure, its fine. I just didn't know you were doing it on Wednesdays."
"Trial basis starting tonight," he explains. "It might not work out, but let's be honest: I can't keep opening the club every day and locking up every night. It'd be nice to have a life."
"Yeah," Ianto agrees.
Jack smiles a little. "We'll see how it goes."
Ianto nods again, because he can't really argue with that.
Jack just smiles and offers Ianto a bite of pie.
Ianto leans over and takes it, licking it off of Jack's fork.
Jack watches, really wishing Ianto had agreed to that ride home.
Ianto can take the bus, he doesn't mind. Besides, taking the bus will take more time that he doesn't have to put up with that lost feeling he does when he's at home or at the Hub.
Jack will just go back to the Hub and try not to think about Ianto's mouth all night. He settles back and takes another bite for himself.
Ianto takes another bite of pie and ice cream.
"Good pie," Jack comments idly.
"Good ice cream." Ianto notes, with a slight grin.
"Good company," he counters cheekily.
Ianto grins, before smirking lightly. "Good view, too."
"Think so?" Jack wonders.
"Oh yeah," Ianto smiles, staring straight at Jack.
"Flirt," he accuses, setting his fork down after one more bite of pie.
"Learned from the best," Ianto smirks.
"Bet you did," Jack teases. "What was his name?"
"I can't tell you, if I did, I'd have to kill you."
"...oh, I see." Jack leans back in his seat, grinning. "Bond. James Bond."
"Maybe, maybe not," Ianto says smiling.
"Mmhm. I see how it is."
"Do you?" Ianto asks.
"Yup. Learning to flirt from James Bond? You'll be chasing skirts in no time."
"Guess, you'll have to start wearing skirts then."
That gets a grin out of him. "You think? I've got the legs for it, if that's what you're into." He highly doubts it, though.
"Well, I'm rather fond of you and if you think I'm going to start chasing skirts, you might want to." Ianto replies.
Jack smirks. "Ambiguous answer, I see."
"I haven't seen you in a skirt, how would I know if it’s my thing?"
"True," Jack agrees, smiling at the waiter when he picks a very amusing time to bring the check.
The waiter just has had the worst luck when it comes to arriving. Ianto has the good grace to blush.
Jack doesn't even look embarrassed. He just grins and offers the waiter a card to take care of the check. When they're alone again, Jack grins at Ianto.
"We need to stop having these conversations in public," Ianto mutters, looking away, but glancing at Jack out of the corner of his eye.
"If you want," Jack agrees, "but I have no problem with it."
"I know you don't" Ianto shakes his head.
Jack just smiles and finishes off his tea. "I'll keep all my dirty talk to myself, then. Unless we're in the bedroom?"
"Just the dirtier bits."
"Sure," he agrees.
Ianto smiles at him, "You wouldn't be Jack, if you weren't somewhat dirty after all."
"Is that your way of telling me you love me in spite of my dirty mind?"
"Actually, I love your dirty mind," Ianto answers honestly.
"Mm," is all Jack answers with, smiling softly.
"I think its just going to get us into trouble one of these days."
"Possibly. It wouldn't be a first for me."
"Somehow that doesn't surprise me," Ianto grins at him. The waiter brings back the bill with the receipt for Jack to sign.
"It shouldn't." Jack signs off on the receipt and flashes Ianto a grin.
Ianto laughs, waiting for Jack to sign off on it, before getting to his feet.
Jack slides out of his half of the booth to join Ianto. "Walk you to the bus stop?" he offers.
"Nah," Ianto says, leaning in close to him. "Go work, come home to me." Ianto says softly.
Jack frowns a little. "Okay, sure."
"Does it mean that much to you?" Ianto asks, seeing the frown.
"Nah, it's all right." It means a little to him, but not enough to make a big deal over, he supposes.
Ianto nods, before leaning and kissing Jack. Licking at the other man's mouth as he tries to gain access.
Jack laughs a little against the kiss, before giving in and granting access to Ianto's questing tongue.
Ianto makes it a proper good-bye and hurry home kiss. He pulls away, kissing Jack's cheek. "I'll see you later."
"See you," he answers, seeing Ianto off.
Ianto grins at him, before zipping up his coat and heading to the bus stop.
Jack heads in the opposite direction, back toward the club.
Ianto gets home, he works on the club's budget for a couple hours, before heading upstairs and finding Jack's thing of toys. Jack did say he was going to be home earlier than usual and the club would be closing right now. Its not long before he's stripped in their bed and masturbating, After a bit, he works one of Jack's toys into him (having slid a condom over it to be on the safe side). Then he grabs his phone, snaps a picture of it and sends it to Jack along with text 'Ready For You'.
Jack is about to head out, yes, but he's helping take care of a few things before doing so. Namely, he's giving Gwen a run-down on what to do while Owen sees the last of the punters out and Tosh counts down the register. He checks his phone when it beeps at him and stares long enough that Gwen asks if everything's okay with Alice, probably thinking the text is about the baby. Jack assures her everything is fine, but excuses himself to leave. It's only a ten minute drive back to the house if he hurries.
The phone will beep again while Jack is driving, showing Ianto's cock with his hand wrapped around with it along with one word, 'Hurry'.
He checks his phone at the next red light, then reaches for his blue tooth headset while dialing Ianto's cell phone.
Ianto picks up with a moan, "Jack."
"You kinky bastard," he accuses. "Are you starting without me?"
"Oh yes," Ianto groans. "Where are you?"
"Just left," he answers. "Not going to come without me, are you?"
"Oh, try not to, better hurry though," Ianto encourages.
"...you know there's a cockring in that drawer," he points out.
"Is there?" Ianto asks, "Too busy to look now."
"There is," he murmurs. "Tell me what you're doing."
"One hand wrapped around my cock, stroking it." Ianto pants, "The other fucking myself on the toy."
"Fast or slow?" he asks, voice rough with obvious desire.
"Slow, trying to wait for you." Jack's voice isn't helping matters.
"I'm almost there," Jack assures softly.
"Need you," Ianto pleads over the phone.
"I know," he answers, hitting the gas a little. It's late enough that there's little traffic on the road now that he's away from the city center.
"Your voice isn't helping," Ianto murmurs.
"Close you eyes," he instructs. "That's my hand and I'm going to tease you, Ianto. I don't want you to come, I'm going to make you beg."
Ianto breathes hitches over the phone. "Jack, please, so hard."
"Shh, I never make you beg for it." He doesn't. Usually, when Ianto starts to beg, Jack gives in easily, but he can't with the little distance between them. "You can wait, can't you?"
"Trying," Ianto promises, "Trying so hard."
"You're so naughty," Jack teases, turning onto the street that leads to theirs, finally. "Getting started without me, sending pictures. You knew I wanted to take you home earlier and have a quick shag, didn't you?"
"Did you?" Ianto gasps. No, he didn't actually, which was why he insisted on the bus.
"I did," Jack answers, voice a deep rumble. "Might not have even made it out of the car."
"Oh," Ianto moans, "Thought you were just being overprotective."
"Maybe a little," he admits, but he'd been thinking about a quick lunchtime shag. Jack brakes at the stop sign near their street, before turning onto it. "I was thinking about your mouth all night. Your tongue. I thought you were teasing me, going home alone after being suggestive, licking that fork."
"Promise for later," Ianto murmurs, "God, you have sexy voice."
"I love the way you moan," he answers, hurrying down the street and turning into their driveway. Parking, he pulls up the handbrake and kills the engine, but doesn't announce that he's home. "Moan for me, Ianto."
"Jack," Ianto moans, "Please."
"Please what?" he asks, closing the car door softly. "Tell me what you need. Exactly what you need."
"Need you, need your hands on me," Ianto pants out, "Need your cock in me."
"You've gotten yourself all worked up," Jack teases, muffling his keys as he unlocks the front door and quietly lets himself in.
"I have, need you, hurry please," Ianto pleads.
"Shh, don't worry. I'll be there soon." He takes the stairs slowly, pleased that Myfanwy hasn't given him away. "How close are you?"
"Very," Ianto tells him him. "So very close." He groans over the phone, needy and desperate.
"You're not allowed to come yet," Jack says, opening the bedroom door and slipping inside. He locks the door behind him.
"I know," Ianto has his back to the door, both hands still working. His phone is sitting on the pillow next to him on speakerphone. "Waiting for you."
That has to be the sexiest sight Jack has ever seen. He quietly shrugs out of his jacket and lowers it slowly to the floor. "But I'm not going to let you come right away, am I?" he murmurs softly, taking careful steps across to the bed.
"No," Ianto moans, arching his back. He twists, sensing that Jack is behind him. "Jack."
Jack reaches out and brushes his fingertips down Ianto's back slowly as he sinks one knee against the edge of the bed. "Yeah. You're gonna have to wait."
"Please," Ianto pleads, rolling over to pull Jack closer to him.
He only allows himself to be pulled down for a moment and only for a kiss, reaching down to gently push Ianto's hand away from his cock. "I'm here now. I'll take care of you." Eventually.
"Jack, don't please," Ianto begs, letting Jack removing his hand, but not liking it in the least.
"Shh," Jack murmurs between kisses, slipping off his bluetooth and tossing it next to Ianto's phone. "I'll make it worth your while."
"Just need a little bit, Jack, just need you," Ianto whines, trying to get Jack to touch him.
Jack just kisses him again before pulling away. "I know," he says, attention moving to the drawer in search.
Ianto pulls his other hand away, moving to start stripping Jack. Jack should be naked along with him, he's decided.
Jack lets him have at the buttons of his shirt, but brushes his hands away once he finds what he's looking for in the drawer. "Lay back," he says, giving Ianto a little nudge.
Ianto pouts, but does so. Thrusting upwards, in hopes of getting Jack's attention on his cock and getting the other man to touch it.
He's a little distracted with a bottle of lube and making sure the rubber ring he's found is slick. Then he gives Ianto what he wants ... at least partly, while working the rubber ring slowly down his lover's cock to the base. "Not too tight?"
"Not what I wanted," Ianto pouts at him.
"You said you were too busy to look for it," Jack answers, giving Ianto's cock a slow stroke.
Ianto whimpers, "Didn't really want it that much though."
Jack raises both eyebrows. "Do you want me to take it off?"
Ianto bites his lip, "Promise you'll take care of me?"
"Do you honestly think I wouldn't?" Jack wonders, frowning a little. He reaches up with his other hand and brushes at Ianto's cheek lightly.
"No," Ianto shakes his head, "Just so hard, so close."
"You know, cock rings don't work the same for everyone," he murmurs, leaning down for another kiss. "They make some guys even more sensitive."
"Oh god," Ianto moans, reaching up to kiss Jack.
Jack leans down for the kiss, giving Ianto another slow stroke.
Ianto's hips arch off the bed following Jack. He moans, "Jack"
"So hot," he murmurs, reluctantly pulling away, but only to settle himself between Ianto's legs. "God, you have no idea how hot you are." Still stroking him, Jack reaches down with his free hand to tease the vibe Ianto's using.
Ianto arches his hips, trying to get more. The vibe isn't on, Ianto knew he wouldn't last if it had been on.
He figures Ianto turned it off for self-control and only turns it to the lowest setting to start, just to see how Ianto reacts.
Ianto gasps, thrusting up, while trying to desperately pull Jack over him, so he rub against the other man.
"Yeah," Jack encourages softly, letting Ianto pull him down. He steals a kiss, plying at Ianto's lips with his tongue.
Ianto uses his kiss, to beg and plead with Jack. Oh, he needs to come, wants to.
Jack knows he can't prolong it too much, from personal experience as a matter of fact. He turns the vibe up to the next setting, then the next.
"Jack!" Ianto whines, thrusting up into Jack. "Please, want you in me."
"Sure I can't suck you off while fucking you with this vibrator?" he wonders, not entirely teasing.
"Scale of 1 to 10, 10 being me now," Ianto gasps, "how much...?"
"How much do I want to get you off?" he wonders, not entirely sure what Ianto's asking, but entirely willing to click the vibe up one more setting. There's only one left.
"Suck me off!" Ianto yelps at that, pressing up into Jack again.
Jack bites his lip to hold back a grin and turns the vibe back down to a lower setting. He doesn't need to be told twice and works his way down without delay, licking a trail down Ianto's stomach and swallowing down his cock, not even pausing to tease.
That wasn't exactly what Ianto meant. He'd meant to clarify his original question, still Jack is sucking him off, and he's not going to complain. His fingers slide into Jack's hair, moaning softly.
Ianto should be clearer on his meaning, but Jack knows how hard it is when all you want to do is come. He hums enthusiastically at the feeling of fingers in his hair and begins to slowly work the vibe in gentle thrusts.
"Oh Jack," Ianto moans, thrusting erratically. "Please, Please"
At the begging, Jack turns the vibe up to the max setting and tries to find a rhythm with Ianto's erratic thrusts. He moans encouragingly around Ianto's cock, practically begging, himself, for Ianto to come.
Ianto's fingers tighten in Jack's hair as he suddenly comes with a long moan.
Jack pulls back enough to swallow, moaning at the combination of Ianto's orgasm and the fingers in his hair.
Ianto lays there gasping for breath as he slowly comes down from hi high.
He licks Ianto clean, slowly thumbing off the vibe and gently sliding it out. "Mm, Ianto."
"Jack," he pants softly.
Jack nuzzles against Ianto's hip. "You are so hot."
Ianto grunts softly, hands moving to stroke the back of Jack's neck. Jack may have just broken Ianto.
Jack doesn't quite realize he may have broken Ianto. He kisses his way back up, nuzzling along Ianto's shoulder and neck. "Mm."
The hand will simply stroke down Jack's body as the other man moves. "Mm?"
"So gorgeous," Jack murmurs, licking at Ianto's neck. He's rather dazed and still very turned on by all this.
It’s a real shame that Ianto is unable to respond right now. He does move his head, slightly, to give Jack more room.
Jack is beginning to suspect that Ianto is completely spent. He hooks his leg over Ianto's and snuggles against the other man's side, erection straining his trousers and pressing against Ianto's hip. He can wait, though, and just nuzzle against his lover's neck for now.
Ianto wouldn't mind Jack if he decided relieve himself by rubbing against his leg. "Jack," Ianto murmurs softly after a few minutes.
Jack probably still. By the time Ianto murmurs his name, Jack is already moving his hips a little, just gently rubbing himself against his lover. "Ianto," he moans softly.
Ianto presses against Jack, in his rhythm, subtly encouraging the other man. "Cariad."
If Ianto is going to encourage him, then Jack has no problem making his movements more obvious, rubbing himself against Ianto with obvious intent now. "Oh, God."
Ianto hums softly, because he likes it when Jack comes. He's not going to get much than light encouraging touches.
That's just fine, though Jack needs a little more than just rubbing against Ianto's thigh. Soon enough, Jack has worked his trousers open and is stroking himself. "Oh, fuck."
Ianto rolls partway to look at Jack. His lips are partly open and if Jack will forward just a bit, Ianto will happily kiss him.
Breathing raggedly, Jack leans forward that little bit to seek out a kiss. It only takes a few moments to bring himself off and Jack moans softly against Ianto's mouth when he comes.
Ianto kisses him, slowly and lazily. He doesn't mind the come splattered on his legs. In fact, he's going to fall asleep sooner, rather than later He still has enough energy to smile at Jack as soon as he feels the come hit his legs. He certainly approves.
"Sorry," Jack murmurs, leaning in for another kiss.
"Why?" Ianto asks, closing his eyes and snuggling closer.
"Messy," he answers quietly, letting Ianto snuggle in. Jack is going to catch his breath for now, then get up to undress the rest of the way and get a towel from the bathroom.
"Don't care," Ianto says, and he'll be fast asleep against Jack, before the other man gets up.
Jack kisses him softly, then carefully slips out of bed. He'll only be gone a few minutes, returning after he's stripped down and gotten a warm wash cloth from the bathroom. He cleans up, sorts out their phones, and pulls the blanket up over Ianto before settling back into bed.
Ianto will object to him leaving, frowning in his sleep.
Jack is apologetic when he returns, though Ianto is asleep. He snuggles back up to his lover and kisses him softly.
Ianto smiles as he Jack comes back. Even in his sleep he misses Jack.
"I love you," he whispers, settling in to sleep now that Ianto has already started in on it.
