on another note, I`m thinking I`m gonna edit together the countless unused instrumental beats i got and just put out an abum of wierd beats and beat slices. Sorta look those J-Dilla beat albums.
It's a start! You should see if Scott from Endemik wants to put it out, he's on your jock. He might require a commitment to tour or something though... but he also licenses some stuff to Japanese labels, so it might work out? I guess your you Pauly also has some connex... but anything you need, any kind of help at any stage, you know I'm in your corner right? I'll find people to do things.
the way its already sounding when i started to lay it out, its less of a standard beat album and more of a sort of madlib kinda beat orchestra. maybe a bit repetitive at points, so I`m going to jazz it up with samples from movies and stuff. But keep it completely no-vocals. I have so many beats stockpiled from the last couple years that i might have trouble fitting it all to one CD. I`m thinking if people hear certain beats and want to make raps for them, I will liscence the beat to those people, if i feel they could hold it down. a lot of my older beats exist now only in mixed down wav form, so i can`t edit individual tracks, which will make mixing and eqingn rough. I may ask Scott to see what he can in terms of mastering the whole laid out sequence to squeeze whatever boom bap we can from it. I have a lot of time this month, i`m sort of on vacation, and its not really going to take a lot of time to do this.
I also bought a tablet to do the cover art!
i appreciate the support, but i never doubted it for a second.
