I would love to know how you manipulate your photos. Could you do up a tutorial or maybe point me in the direction of one that's already done?

Any of them really, I like them all.
My favorites in this set are 4, 10, 20.

Well, the technique is the same, so I might as well use your favorites. ^^ I'll write something up soonish . . . probably next week or so.

I do have a brush set (made by latexandleather), but for these icons I used the Pirates PW dingbat font.*

*Fonts are easier to resize, because when you shrink brushes too much, they get all fuzzy around the edges.

And I am very pleased to have the Pirate Princess's approval! ♥
