That's a lovely way of looking at it. So often online you aren't aware of what's going on for people in the real world. If this story offers some small escape for anyone else, then that's definitely something that makes me happy.

Thank you.

Well, you know what they say. When a door closes... It'll be fine. *hugs*

Story-wise, wow. So, Jim has no idea he has just essentially asked Spock to rape somebody? Don't know how far you'll take it, but either way it's pretty screwed. Poor Spock. I cringed every time shit like that happened in TOS, because HOW COULD YOU ASK THIS, JIM??? *sighs*

Awesome update. The beginning particularly tickled me when Jim had to be the one to bring Spock back to reality. Also, also, also, you do super-introvert Spock like nobody's business. He's cracking over the edges, though. His fight with McCoy, 'Jim, do as I say'... telltale. Superb drama here. Kudos.

I always had that same sense in TOS as well. I mean, Jim's not an idiot. Did he just not think that through, or not care, or what? Geez, JT.

As for your Spock feedback; thanks luv, that makes me very happy.

So it's me reporting in with a review/comment so by now you probably know the drill. Get yourself some snacks, make sure you've got a drink nearby to stay hydrated, and you're sitting comfortably ( ... )

You might find this amusing, but I do actually go and put the kettle on when I see you've commented - in a stupidly self indulgent and hyper-excited kind of way, mind you.

These comments of yours are bright points in my otherwise fairly heavy-hearted days, you know. It might seem ridiculous, but this kind of feedback gives me an opportunity to escape a little, and I really need that right now.

Huge, heartfelt thanks.

Your pacing and characterization are outstanding, as is the complexity of your plotting. Thank you for continuing this work. I would surely miss it, if it were to end.

Spock Prime (well, Spock in any form really) seems to have thing for self sacrifice, especially when it means protecting Jim. But then it's not news that danger to Jim brings out different sides of him (KILL KILL KILL the horta).

So Nero's trying to get his wife's soul? He can't get her body too? (and the baby?) That's why the fal-tor-pan?

Ha, the poor Horta - renowned through fandom for such an odd reason ;)

Mysterious Nero is mysterious. I will explain the fal-tor-pan plan in chapters that follow. Sorry for the cliff-hanger!
