Uh-oh. And the plot thickens... And blood turns clear, apparently. So with Rose and the Doctor sick, a potential alien device at the root of everything, no TARDIS translations and a crazy native, the biggest question I have is: when're we going to see the next chapter? :)

Good point, I did think about that. I don't want Rose to become some sort of ultimate soldier ... little hangups from the Time War work for me - but I don't want either of them to be infallible or indestructible. I like that the War has changed them, but I'd also like them to screw up from time to time. I'm glad somebody noticed that element - I was afraid I was writing it to subtly.

Thought you'd like that ;) Diamond Sea was so serious by necessity. I really wanted to begin to bring back some of the humour that we all love in DW ... and Rose is the perfect foil for Eight. Thanks for commenting.
