Thank you very much for coming back to us. What a dear person your Effie must have been; I am so sorry for your loss.

Of course you know this chapter is wonderful and intriguing! They are still so wounded by the war, and it is lovely to see how well they work together and care for each other. I can hardly wait to see where this is headed, and why the TARDIS is still not speaking to them!

Effie was a completely honey - it's a big loss to everyone who knew her.

It's lovely to have people who read Diamond Sea reviewing this fic ... helps to know that the continuity feels right and that the characters are reading properly after everything they've been through. Thanks for sticking with this series and this fic :)

There are no "degrees Kelvin," just Kelvin. ;) And it's spelled Dengue fever, unless the Brits have a different spelling, in which case oops and sorry.

Loved this chapter! "Partners in crime" indeed - perfect expression. Their interactions back at the TARDIS are just plain cute. And Rose gets a sonic! Yay!

So noted re: Kelvin. However, I'm Australian and we have a Denghi Fever - it's a tropic disease listed on the national database, so I'm going to stick with that spelling, thanks though :)

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for commenting!

*hugs you* I'm also glad to 'see' you back after the insanity life's put you through over the past weeks/months(has it been that long?). I don't recall if I said so earlier - but my condolences for your loss once again.

Anyway. Onto the review! I love this fic so very much. I just really like all the little touches you give to it - the Doctor's little habits and how Rose reacts to them, and how they react to each other. It's very engaging as well as being absolutely gorgeous.

I've always loved that 'action hero' side to Eight - it reminds me a bit of Three. I wanted there to be something left of that after the war - something that Rose's company could draw out of him again, so he could still have fun.
