I think it'll make a comeback, it just needs a rest for awhile. It just became more of a hassly obligation than a funtime party for me in the latter games.

I agree, though, it needs a break, maybe. I'm not opposed to someone keepin' it goin' for a bit, and I always have fun answering the questions, but I don't have time to compose, read, respond, and scoreboard right now.

Yeah, if we take a good break, I could make scoreboards for those last few games. And down the road when life seems more open to it, we could open 'er again.

BTW, doesn't jumping the shark involve making some fatal error which signifies that the end is near, and is actually instrumental in bringing it more swiftly? WHAT IS OUR FATAL ERROR OH NO?!?!?

Sort of. It can mean a variety of different things, brought on by yet another variety of different things. In this case, I was mostly saying it was "past its prime," or that it felt sorta worn out. Did you read the link? There are lots of interesting examples and it is pretty well-worded.

Naw, I didn't read it, but that phrase comes from that episode of Happy Days or whatever, where Fonzie jumps over that shark. I've always thought "shouldn't that have been the moment when Happy Days became the best show ever to exist?" Come to think of it though, I think I have read that jumpshark link on Wikipedia before.
