So, two days after the great deluge, and our neighborhood has finally stopped smelling faintly of sewage. I guess I shouldn't have been so cavalier about wishing for rain, because we sure got a lot of it over the weekend. I even got up close and personal with it last Sunday when I decided to walk all the way from Espana to Intramuros

Yeah. It sucks because even my workplace got flooded though, I'm glad to have NOT been there when it happened.

Pero proud(?) din ako kasi galing din akong USTe at alam ko yung feeling na ma-stranded nang ilang oras at ma-traffic nang halos kalahating araw dahil lang sa baha!

España seriously. I really hate the flood in that area. Good god. Ang hirap ng ma-stranded sa lugar na yan kapag baha. And no, hindi mo ko mapapaglakad sa bahang yan. >_> Ayaw kong mahulog sa manhole.

It's not so bad. XD You just need to tread lightly and learn to keep the bile from rising up your throat. XD

I took baths in the rain too, but I would never, ever swim in floodwaters. Good thing you didn't catch dysentery or something. XD
