I found out today that I did not get the job I interviewed for last week. I'm both disappointed and, not exactly relieved, but okay with it. Disappointed because I think the office environment would have been a good fit for me, I know I could do the job and do it well, and the money was not bad. I was thinking about you earlier today, but I forget why. Maybe it had something to do with Portland, or bullety listy things. :)

I'm sorry you didn't get the job. I hope you can find one that's suitable and closer to home. *hug*

You betcha!

I don't think I actually have a Minnesota accent, but now I'll be checking with everyone I speak to, just to be sure. But either way, I could not work in an ABBA-free office environment. That's just wrong.

I'm sorry to hear about the job, but glad to hear about other things. Their loss. And that commute was a killer. There must be something better out there waiting for you, and I can't wait to see what it is.

Thank you! You're right about the commute, too. I was trying to talk myself into believing that it wouldn't be too horrible, but I never quite managed it. Ick. I'm hoping to just slog through the studying, get my license, and have a massage therapy job soon. That would be wonderful.
