Authentic homemade chicken soup, which includes egg noodles, matzoh balls, almost the entire chicken, plus assorted veggies. The recipe goes back to when I was a kid, and some things are just too good to change.

Tacos. The totally american kind with hamburger and taco seasoning. It is my favorite meal.

OMG, I love them too. I love the authentic version, but I also really, really love the Old El Paso taco kit version.

Anything Mom makes. Mostly roast, cubed steak & gravy with mashed potatoes, and spaghetti. Not spam. Definitely. Not.

You know what I'd really like to see today? A mixed-veggie-array smile.

And be careful, or I will call you and read to you. Chiz chiz.

paternal grandmother's (deceased) cooking. Her lasagne. Made with 147,000,000 calories and all of them delicious. Also her meat sauce which had sliced green olives in it. Yorkshire puddings and roast beast.

All of that sounds heavenly. Lasagna is one of my favoritest comfort foods. Yum. And yay for roast beast! I think you're the only other person I know who calls it that.

Comfort food... probably guacamole. Black beans. My mom's lasagna cuz she makes it with cottage cheese instead of ricotta and it's way better. Macaroni and cheese in Spider-Man shapes. Peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches.

Your icon is perhaps the cutest thing evar.

All of those sound really really good. I'm not sure how I feel about the cottage cheese part, though. But Spider-Man mac and cheese? Oh yes. I could totally get behind that.
