That was my question last year, too. It's a skewer with alternating tater tots and meatballs, battered and deep fried. It's served with a mushroom sauce, but since I think mushrooms are the agent of Satan I skipped that part. Without the sauce, it is really, really, really good.

Holy heart attack on a stick, Batgirl!

Who am I to talk, though? When we go to the Big E (annual New England fair), the first thing my husband and I eat is fried cheese curds. With ranch dressing. And we bring home smoked turkey legs at the end of the day. >.>

Speaking of which, I should go and book tickets for that. Yay!

ZOMG, the fried cheese curds! They are the most incredible things ever. They don't have them in Florida, as far as I know, and I think that is tragic. I fell desperately in love with them with the first bite. They are heavenly.

I haven't had a turkey leg yet, but I think I've seen people walking around with them.

Do you have a milk booth? We do. How awesome is that?!

I so wish I could gather The FriendBots for a trip to the fair. How much would that rock? We could all have cheese curds and fresh milk and throw hoops at pegs and stuff.

You know, I think the very first time I ever heard of cheese curds was when you mentioned them. I was very confused. I was waiting for mention of whey and tuffets.

Excellent! Come to the fair with us. It will be fair-tabular! (I had to add the hyphen because it looked quite rude without.)

What do you love best about the fair?
