your bus drivers actually call out the name of the stops? how nice. i've never seen a bus driver do that unless a stop was specifically requested in advance.

Most of them do. Some of them don't bother, and of course it's usually on routes that I'm not familiar with. ;)

The first two expressions I've heard and understand their slangy use, possibly because I might use them. But the one about the towering inferno... That sounds suspiciously like your coworkers have gotten into my patented Crazy Pills ! I hope so, because that means there's a royalties check coming in the mail soon (they are patented after all).
