PayPal are Utter Bastards

Author George R R Martin (grrm) finds himself locked out of his PayPal account:

The reason my account was locked was because my name has turned up on a list out of the U.S. Treasury Department. Specifically, something called the "Office of Foreign Assets Control."

The only time I considered using Paypal I read some of the horror stories and decided I could do without it. (Of course I do a lot of laundering, especially the ironing aspects)

I've never had any difficulty with it, but I haven't used it very often and I've never had tons of money in my account. I really don't like reading about things like this, though.
