OMFG. I'd forgotten about that video. Huzzah for ISDN connections and the boss being out. I have a bootleg of all their videos through Electric Barbarella but I don't think that's on it. I know I have that 12" single though. Brilliant.

Yes. It was the last vinyl 12" I bought too. I bought it at a record shop in Belfast and listened to it daily for months. You would understand when I tell you the mix makes my eyes well up. I'm a dork like that about their music tho.

Yes! I totally understand that. A huge part is the music, but some of it is that we listened to it so much that there are memories of life stuff that are permanently attached to those songs, so that's all mixed in with the music when we hear it. A mix like that compresses so many memories and emotions that it's impossible not to be moved and a bit teary.
That's right! I remember laughing so hard I had a coughing fit and actually hurt myself. The "Sandwiches. Next Question." part still cracks me up, even though I couldn't remember what came before that part.
