Yesterday was my journal's fifth birthday. I was surprised when I realized that. Those five years have certainly flown by.

Mine is next week. Isn't that a weird feeling? I started this journal just after my twelfth birthday. That's my entire adolescence! I hadn't thought about it before, but five/seventeenths is a pretty significant amount of time.

It's odd. Mine's about the same age, but it feels like I haven't really been doing this that long. But then I actually think about how long a time 5 years is, and I'm awfully impressed with myself for sticking with it so long.
