I'd be interested to hear #1, and if you can't respond to it here without saying things you can guess I'd rather not make available publicly, then, well, there's always AIM, e-mail, and PMs in IRC.
On #2, I'd like to have some time when I'm not falling asleep in mid-conversation from a long trip to New York, when we can eat somewhere, order pints, quite possibly in a group, and talk social issues. You always seem to bring a lot to many of the political/societal things I ramble on about in my LJ, not expecting anyone to give it the time of day. :) This sort of scenario is never likely to happen at a Gencon though because most gamers have a negative reaction to political conversation.
