Home: A Quiet Evening at Home

I wrote this one for season 3 to tie into some things I'm planning for season 4. I've got over 20000 words of case fic which I think is going to fit right after Suspicion (I keep waffling a bit), which means there are two more tags before the case fic. I've written both but I'll space them out since the case fic isn't ready to post yet ( Read more... )

Thank you. Hopefully the next bits will be far more than just tidbits, however.

I *so* look forward to reading this series! I love the way you write Gibbs and DiNozzo.

Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you like it. Hearing that people enjoy this is what keeps me going. Well, that and the characters have taken over my brain.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I only started reading Gibbs/DiNozzo a few months ago and I'm totally hooked.

It's great writers like yourself who make it so much fun.

The men have great voices and, even in canon, need just a bit of tweeking to 'ship them. You capture it well. With the additions in your 'verse I'm totally captivated. I had always seen DiNozzo as a big ol' chocolate lab anyway ;-)

Not the only one at all.

*blushes*

They really are so much fun. It's the dynamic between the characters that does it for me with this show. As for the shifter aspects, that part has totally taken over. I have ideas for a crazy four show crossover, Star Trek wants in, and my husband and I are working on an original novel with shifters. My brain is exploding ...

Ack. Don't feed the muse. The muse is currently spitting out ideas for Star Trek fic. I need to starve the muse a bit so she'll go back to having NCIS ideas. Otherwise I'll get stuck writing a series of Shifters in Space stories. It's already threatening to try and tie into the NCIS stories and create whole canon. *shudders*

Glad you like the new piece though. More to come. Soon. I hope. Got any good muse ties?

Oops! *wrestles cookies away from the muse* Sounds like the muse needs an NCIS marathon!

Urg. I've watched so much NCIS lately .. I've got half the episodes memorized. Which is fun at points, but I just end up plotting tags for the later eps and being frustrated that I can't seem to make it work for the earlier eps ... what I need is some good NCIS fic ... except I think I've read most of it. *sigh*
