Oh my, interesting tag, though slightly confused by some of what Fornell and Gibbs hinting at.
So Fornell and Sacks are both Shifters? And Alphas? Very cool, and I'm assuming that Tony doesn't know about either one?
Oh, and the fighting with Ziva, were you implying that she is a Shifter or just that she is -well, Ziva?

It was intentionally a bit confusing, though perhaps more so than it could have been. Sacks is, Fornell isn't (but does know about them). Ziva is being Ziva. Whether Tony and Sacks are fully aware of each other is uncertain.

That help? Please feel free to ask further questions. I know I left this cryptic, but those two just talk so cryptically. Probably comes from knowing each other so long.

Ooooh! I can just picture the set-to between Tony and Ziva :)
And Sacks as a shifter makes perfect sense!

it would be ugly, but I think Tony would win, even if Gibbs had to come in and back him up. Gibbs wouldn't want anyone else as his second.

Oh goody. I'm glad that makes sense. The idea hit me a few weeks back and has been lurking, waiting for a chance to come out.

I think it makes for a good explanation, because they really do hate each other.

Gibbs would fight him on it. And as director he wouldn't feel obliged to take out someone in a lower position. If they could deal, would it be any worse or better than Jenny?

More about Fornell will come out, but not until season five I think. I think more people know about shifters than is commonly realized. But they all know not to talk, so they don't, so no one ever realizes just how wide spread the knowledge is.
